AREOLA REPIGMENTATION Following breast reconstruction surgeries, further attention is typically required to smooth out and blend in resulting scar tissue surrounding the areola. The color normally needs to be restored as well. You must wait one full year after the last incision is made in order to not compromise your surgeons work.
